Questions
Who are beginner charts for?
First boards and short palettes. Shapes stay readable and neighbors are less likely to smear. Sort from the detail legend and start at the outline.
Is beginner the same as small and quick?
No. Beginner is difficulty. Small and quick is size and time. A tiny chart can still be fiddly—read the label on the card.
How should I iron a first piece?
Beads face up, baking paper on top, medium-low heat, iron set flat. Stop when the edges tack. Wait a few seconds before peeling so light colors do not stretch.
Do Perler and Hama boards work?
Yes. Beginner charts are still 5mm midi. Free beginner files download as PNG; Pro beginner charts preview here and export in the app.
Where do I go after beginner?
Open the intermediate collection. You will get more colors and thinner outlines on the same 5mm pitch.
